This weeklong celebration, June 1-5, will highlight how we can all make a difference in people's lives - from small acts of compassion to being part of the affordable workforce housing solution in Ventura County.

We've got some exciting activities planned during our weeklong virtual campaign, from compelling Facebook Live presentations to emotional videos, to celebrity performances. Join us June 1-5 on the Housing Trust Fund VC Facebook page in support of affordable workforce housing development. For too many, housing is not guaranteed. The lack of available affordable housing in Ventura County negatively impacts the quality of life for – farmworkers, veterans, public safety officers, low-income families, people with disabilities, the elderly, educators, healthcare workers . . . . the list goes on. We can be part of the affordable housing solution in Ventura County. We’re particularly excited about our Living Room Lounge! Every night at exactly 7:00 pm we will host an intimate one-song performance by outstanding singers. The Everyone Deserves a Home Compassion Campaign promises to be a fun and emotional week as Housing Trust Fund VC shines a light on the growing need for more affordable housing in Ventura County. We’re challenging you to share and complete small acts of compassion for your neighbors, family, friends, and members of our community. Bring goods to a local food bank. Pick up groceries for your neighbor at high risk. Make a donation of any size towards more affordable housing in Ventura County. We encourage you to share your #CompassionInAction on Facebook - videos and photos are great! Be sure to tag us @HousingTrustFundVC and use the hashtag #CompassionInAction so we can share with the community. |
