Housing Trust Fund Ventura County Board of Directors Welcomes Five New Members

Ventura, CA – Housing Trust Fund Ventura County (Housing Trust Fund VC) has announced a slate of five new Directors for election to its 2021 Board at the organization’s Annual Meeting being held on Wednesday, January 27th, 11:30 am to 1:00 pm via Zoom. The new slate will fill the seats of five longstanding outgoing Directors, many of whom have served for years.
The incoming Directors represent community members who bring a wide range of diversified knowledge and experience to Housing Trust Fund VC, especially as it relates to affordable workforce housing, socio-diversity, and inclusion.
  • Carrick DeHart is the Director of Major Gifts for CSU Channel Islands. He offers 15+ years of extensive and diversified experience as a fund raiser and program director, event organizer, and strategic planning executive.
  • Daniel Gonzalez is a Future Leaders of America Lead Organizer. As a youth advocate and direct support professional for organizations including the Boys & Girls Club of Santa Clara Valley, One Step a La Vez, and the People Creating Success: FADE Program, Daniel is well-versed on the importance of education equity, immigrant rights, healthy communities, and the integral role safe and stable housing plays in the lives of youth and their families.
  • Emilio Ramirez is the Housing Director for the City of Oxnard, bringing with him extensive expertise working on housing authority and homeless services, affordable housing development, homeownership down payment assistance programs, neighborhood engagement and historic neighborhood preservation. He is a current gubernatorial appointee of California’s Homeless Coordinating and Financing Council.

  • Brittany Seniff is Development Manager for Community Development Partners, a multifamily developer dedicated to preserving, renovating and enhancing affordable properties and developing sustainable neighborhoods. Brittany’s community development and project management experience extends to include Jamboree Housing where she led the development of affordable housing projects throughout California.
  • Ken Trigueiro is President and CEO of People’s Self-Help Housing. Through a 30+ year career in banking and affordable housing Ken brings an innovative combination of experiences in homeownership development, real estate acquisitions, community development financial institution (CDFI) funding, and site-based services development.

Departing the current Housing Trust Fund VC Board of Directors are, Stephen Boggs, John Fowler, David Moe, Sean Morreale, and Donna Sepulveda-Weber.

Housing Trust Fund VC will host their Where We Live Shapes How We Live Annual Meeting on Wednesday, January 27th from 11:30 am – 1:00 pm. The virtual event is free and open to the public and will address the growing challenges of housing insecurity in Ventura County and how Housing Trust Fund VC, through its revolving loan fund, is working with developers to build safe and equitable multifamily housing that creates richly diverse neighborhoods and positively impacts the trajectory of people’s lives while advancing the community’s collective prosperity.
