VCHTF will be hosting their 2017 Annual Meeting.

This meeting is recommended for all elected officials, municipal employees, housing and supportive care entities, housing developers, financial institutions and others interested in increasing the supply of affordable housing in Ventura County.

Lunch will be hosted by VCHTF. In order to provide adequate seating and lunch, please RSVP your intention to come no later than 1/23.
This meeting is open to the public. You are encouraged to invite those that would be interested to know more about VCHTF and affordable housing in the County.
VCHTF is the only Countywide non-profit organization dedicated to funding new multi-family affordable housing. Ventura County continues to confront the challenges posed by a scarcity of housing, particularly affordable housing. In the last several decades, housing production in the County has lagged behind population and job growth, resulting in a housing deficit. Affordable housing production remains far below the demand.

VCHTF along with Girl Scouts #60192 is hosting a fundraiser at California Pizza Kitchen (Ventura – Pacific View Mall) all day long on Wed. August 24th. CPK is donating 20% of all proceeds to the Castillo del Sol Community-Building Basket project to be featured at the 9/22 annual event. The five baskets being compiled will support the 39 residents of the Castillo del Sol apartments, a supportive independent home for low income adults with physical, mental, developmental disabilities and other special needs.
The 4th Annual Homeownership Fair “Changing Lives Through Homeownership” will take place on Saturday, June 25th from 11:00 am – 3:00 pm at 2231 Sturgis Road, Suite A, Oxnard. This event is presented by the Ventura County Community Development Corporation and will include 25+ informational booths, food, music, kids activities, workshops, gift giveaways, and guest speakers.
